How does our pricing work?
Our pricing is very simple, you can choose between three plans: Editor, Filmmaker and Studio. Each plan has a set cost per user, which is charged either monthly or annually to your payment method.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We process payments through our payment partner Stripe. We accept payments from all major credit cards : American Express, Visa, MasterCard, etc.
We do not accept cheques.
If you wish to pay by wire transfer, it is possible, but we only accept wire transfers for annual plans with more than 30 users.
We need to add someone to our team. How does it work ?
Simple, head over to your account dashboard. Navigate to the Team menu item, click on Add member and fill out the form !
The member you added will then receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. After joining your team, their database login will be active after 24h (and this will get faster soon !).
I need to upgrade or downgrade my plan. How does it work ?
Simple, head over to your account dashboard. Navigate to the Subscription menu item, and there, upgrade or downgrade your plan.
Note : You will need to add all the users you had on your previous plan to the new plan (we are working on fixing this !)
No action is required for already active users, they keep their account and credentials.
How safe is mona.ninja?
We take pride in using the latest available technology to guarantee maximum security. While we do our best to minimize risks, technology is never 100% secure, and we do regular backups to be able to restore data in case of an attack.
We also offer a VPN option for annual subscriptions, which makes it mandatory to use a VPN to access the cloud database.
Will I be charged sales tax?
For US customers, Yes.
For others – it might depend on your jurisdiction.
Is there an on-premises version of our service?

Do we offer a discount for nonprofits?
We are happy to offer a discount on Filmmaker or Studio annual plans for eligible non-profit organizations. Contact sales to know more !
How do I cancel my Mona Ninja subscription?
Simple. Login to your account and head over to the Subscription menu item, and follow the link to Cancel your subscription.
From that point onwards, you have 24h to backup / export your projects from the database to another location. We will not keep backups copies of your account after that.
Is there a free trial?
No. That being said, you can subscribe for a month and try our service, no strings attached. We also offer a 30 days money back guarantee on our annual pricing if the service doesn’t fit your needs.*

How fast is it?
We offer two server locations for Editor and Filmmaker plan customers : Europe-West and America-Central.
For Studio clients, we can deploy your dedicated server in a large range of other locations through our hosting partners AWS / GCS / Azure.
This means that our service is always provided to you from the nearest location possible to reduce latency.
Our Editor and Filmmaker plans offer database access on a shared server. We limit resource consumption by each client on these shared servers, keeping total usage of a single user contained to guarantee proper speed without impacting the service experience for others.
Our Studio customers get a 100% dedicated server that isn’t shared with anyone.
